Founder of Zenability
Â
Hi my name is Mel and I am the founder of Zenability.Â
A bit of information about me...
I had tremendous success in my corporate career for 17 years and academic studies, achieving a first class honours degree and a post graduate degree with distinction.
Whilst I was working as a Director in the corporate world, I was volunteering for several charities as a mentor, this is where I found passion and love for helping others.
I have faced challenges in my life with stress, depression, anxiety, insomnia, ADHD, chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia. I am here to show you how even faced with difficult challenges, you determine your journey in life and you can overcome challenges.
I have the tools, knowledge and lived experience to help you on your journey.
Â
Why I created Zenability?
I created this space for people who look like they’re “doing fine” from the outside, but inside feel exhausted, unsure, or quietly overwhelmed. My work combines mindful self care, honest reflection, and practical support to help you find calm and clarity in a life that may not have left much room for either.
Zenability is the perfect blend of coaching and support to achieving your goals, with one to one coaching service, guidebooks and the Self Growth club.
Â
Why I started this work
There was a time when I was moving through life on autopilot. Stress felt normal, exhaustion felt normal, second-guessing every decision felt normal. I kept pushing, telling myself I just needed to be stronger, more productive, more “together.”
Eventually, I realized that what I was calling “normal” was actually burnout and disconnection. I was disconnected from my body, my needs, and any real sense of where I wanted my life to go.
That’s what led me to mindfulness, self care, and deeper inner work. Not as a quick fix, but as a way to get honest about how I was living and what needed to change. Slowly, I started to feel calmer, clearer, and more at home in my own life.
I started this coaching practice and the Self Growth Club so that you don’t have to navigate that process alone, or wait until everything falls apart before you get support.
Â
How I support you
My style is calm, honest, and practical. I’m not here to judge or to “fix” you. I’m here to walk with you while you figure out what you need.
- Mindfulness-based, but grounded:
We use simple practices to help you slow down, notice what’s really going on, and respond more intentionally, not spiritually bypass what you’re feeling.
- Gentle but direct:
I offer a kind, non-judgmental space, and I’ll also ask real questions that help you see patterns, choices, and possibilities more clearly.
- Small steps, real life:
Instead of overwhelming plans, we focus on one or two realistic changes at a time that fit your actual life and energy.
- Whole-person focus:
We look at stress, work, relationships, self talk, habits, and what makes you feel alive, not just one isolated issue.

An invitation
If you’re feeling stressed, burned out, or unsure what’s next for you, you’re not broken and you’re not behind. You’re just at a point where something in you is asking for change and support.
Whether you choose one-on-one coaching, the Self Growth Club, or both, my intention is the same: to offer you a calm, grounded space to listen to yourself, make sense of where you are, and take your next steps with more clarity and care.
If this resonates with you, you can explore one-on-one coaching to get started.
